Stan still drinks, heavily. He will try to make an effort to stop for Kyle's sake; but often when he does he tries to do it cold turkey, and will have withdrawal symptoms (anxiety, irritability, restlessness).
Along with being an alcoholic; Stan has Borderline Personality Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder; his cynicism has worsened as he got older. He also smokes from time to time.

Stan still talks about Crimson Dawn; he will often play guitar and sing to help cope with bad feelings. He's a huge metalhead and has lots of band tees and posters.
He's not open about it, but he hasn't been Christian for several years. He's dabbled in Satanism instead.
